Longtime friends Chris Sullivan and Mr. Cordeaux (Fox Brothers' Managing Director) were first introduced to each other during an evening event at The Wag Club in London. A time when accessories such as "spats", were considered a bold and vintage look.
Mr. Cordeaux often recalls visiting on weekends, during his days as a student at 'Chelsea School of Art', "I remember there was a particular move towards men's suiting at this time, moving away from the New Romantic era. This was when I first fell in love with the suit, often picking up many second hand pieces from outfitters Alfred Kemp. Run by a particularly rude man... but as the suits were so reasonable, I didn't really care!".
Chris Sullivan is a gentleman of many talents, having been a lead singer, entrepreneur, author, fashion designer and painter, amongst lots of other professions. Most recently Chris has developed a real artistic flair, having painted numerous pieces for his store, completed over 60 various commissions, and illustrated a set of artist squares for Fox Brothers.
This artist square features a remarkable illustration from Chris Sullivan. Commemorating electric blends of latin jazz, vintage funk, northern soul, with an early 80's vibe. Crafted from silk, to produce a delicately soft hand feel. A special collaboration project, to form a beautiful artist square with rolled edges, and a highly detailed screen print.
